Frequently asked questions

Are the icons really free? Can I use them commercially?
Yes. Original icons are free for personal and commercial work, and you don’t need to credit us. Use them in websites, apps, specs, proposals, slide decks, architecture diagrams and print. The only things you can’t do are resell the icons as they are or republish them on another icon site.
Can I use the brand icons for cloud platforms, SaaS apps and developer tools for free?
Brand icons are brand-style drawings meant for pointing to a service in diagrams and documents. They aren’t the official icon files, and each trademark belongs to its owner, so please follow that company’s brand guidelines. If you need the official icon, use the link to the official source on the icon’s page.
Which file formats can I download?
SVG and PNG. PNGs come in any size from 16px to 1024px, and you can recolor line and solid icons before you download them. You can also collect several icons and download them together as one ZIP.
What’s the difference between color, grayscale, line and solid?
Color icons are flat and multi-colored, and grayscale is the same artwork in shades of gray. Line icons are drawn with outlines and solid icons are filled shapes. Both use a single color (currentColor), so they pick up your text color and work well in black-and-white documents.
How do I use the icons in draw.io, PowerPoint or Figma?
Download the SVG. In draw.io (diagrams.net), drag it onto the canvas. In PowerPoint or Keynote, use Insert > Picture, and it stays sharp however much you scale it. In Figma, copy the SVG code and paste it to get an editable vector.
How often are new icons added?
A new icon set goes up every morning. Every set follows the same 48×48 grid, stroke width and color system, so you can mix icons from different sets in one diagram.
